In August 2010 Sue had her first photograph printed directly onto aluminium to fulfil a request from a client who wanted a photograph of ‘The Witterings’ for her bathroom. This medium proved ideal and very popular. So much so that Sue’s exhibitions during 2011 have featured the majority of work on aluminium, it has such a contemporary feel.

Printed in Germany directly onto solid aluminium backing, the board is constructed of three layers and has been used in galleries for over ten years. UV direct printing on aluminium is particularly light resistant, colour resistant and even water resistant. It is therefore suitable for bathrooms & kitchens as well as for exteriors, protected from rain & direct sunlight.
